Who are the Champions of Love? This intriguing question was our guide while developing an animated project for the foundation bearing this inspiring name. The organization’s mission is to support extraordinary leaders who who are deeply connected with their communities, attuned to social justice issues, and committed to aiding those in suffering.
The World Needs More Champions
That’s why we focused our narrative on Love in everyday life – highlighting small gestures and random acts of kindness. Our aim was to show that everyone has the capacity to contribute positively to their community and spread love – the only untapped resource humanity has.
Style Exploration
In creating this animation, we aimed for a vibrant, colorful style that resonates with the energetic personality of our main character. Our journey led us to a comic book-inspired approach, providing a rich playground for experimenting with colors, shapes, and visual effects.
Character Design
Utilizing halftones and paper texture, we enhanced the print-like feel, while the beautifully cel-animated characters breathe life into this captivating world. The end result is a dynamic, fun, and unique animation that radiates joy and champions the power of love in every frame.
