Every time we collaborate with WWF, we aim to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. For their ’Nature Needs Us. Now.’ campaign, we took that ambition one step further, with an animation that feels unique, tactile and important.

At the heart of the campaign lies our relationship with nature. It protects and nourishes us, helps fight disease, and moderates the climate. Yet the natural world as we know it is under threat - and preserving it requires collective action.
To help convey this message, WWF’s CEO, Carter Roberts, wrote a poem calling for the protection of nature as our most precious shared resource. His words form the backbone of the animation and guide its emotional rhythm.
We knew this message demanded a distinctive visual approach. Our goal was to create something organic and sensory - an animation that feels almost touchable, as if the poem were unfolding beneath closed eyelids.
The film was created in an old-school way: every frame hand-drawn and manually colored. This process allowed us to emphasize movement, subtle imperfections, and texture, resulting in a visual language that feels alive and uniquely personal.
A minimalistic, custom-composed soundtrack accompanies the narration, leaving space for the poem to breathe while reinforcing the urgency and importance of protecting nature.
