New Year’s Eve Show

Emaar, the largest real estate developer in the UAE, had once again held a globally recognized New Year’s Eve Show on the tallest building in the World – Burj Khalifa. 2023 has been kicked off by a series of live design and animation-driven visualizations powered by BluBlu Studios. The variety of our works had been displayed on Burj Khalifa all throughout December, with the big blowout on Dec 31st!

Hello Dubai!

BluBlu’s goal was to deliver visually stunning, story-driven, and engaging announcements that would gear everybody up for the main New Year’s Eve Show. It was to be achieved by artistic and creative concepts that would leave the audience with a positive association with the event, Dubai, Burj Khalifa, and Emaar brand.

The Story

The story is centered around universal New Year’s emotions, such as DREAMS, HAPPINESS, TOGETHERNESS, FUTURE & BEYOND. These motives are established on the spectrum from complete abstraction and symbolism to realistic images. The visual cues balance between conceptual and physical world, taking the viewer’s imagination for a ride.

Celebrations

BluBlu was responsible for a series of videos displayed all throughout the month leading up to the main event. It kicked off with an Announcement Video, whose main goal was to be a bold, colorful, and visually striking introduction to December festivities and get the people of Dubai a taste of things to come.

Brand Videos

Emaar brand videos, as a mix of live-action presenting real UEA locations with 2D animation, required a more serious, sophisticated tone. It contributes to the image of a trustworthy global brand, which Emaar undoubtedly is.
